It all started with a desire to do more.
Sometimes one journey’s end is another’s beginning. MoT was born of the tech lay offs that started in 2023. During the course of countless interviews, something started to sink in for us:
Most companies had no idea why they were hiring for a content position. Mostly they focused on short term tactics or what competitors were doing.
We realized that there was an opportunity to do more, and help companies of all sizes realize the power of their content. It’s the most powerful tool they have.
But it needs a strategy, and someone who is thinking about it from a business-impact perspective, to maximize the potential.
We want to help companies do more with their content, and turn it into a revenue driver.
With over 15 years of experience in the Chicago advertising scene and the Boston tech industry, we’ve sat on both sides of the table.
We’ve owned the business side of marketing where we’ve stressed about budgets and ROI. We’ve also been on the agency side and felt the frustration of unappreciated art. MoT seeks to find a middle way, where we produce the highest quality writing, art direction, and content possible, while always remembering that the people paying for it are answerable for the results.
We pride ourselves on being trusted advisors and writers who can work with business and marketing leaders to focus on the ROI and pipeline growth, while also working with content and creative teams to ensure they’re doing their best work.
When we’re not in front of our computers, we’ve likely #gonefishing, and have disappeared up into the Blue Ridge Mountains for a while with a fly rod and sketchpad.
